Wow. I haven't updated for months. :) Guess facebook has too much of my attention. I just don't have the stamina to update like I used to; mainly b/c I dont' have computer access.

I got my hair cut REALLY short. And I'm getting a new day job---possibly.

GOD has been truly faithful in His disciplining of me.

There is so much going on. After moving back to PA a little under a year ago, Last July, I moved in with the Lamb family--a delightful family from the (50-75 person ) church I now attend called Lighthouse Community. The Lambs and I resided in a little suburb of Lancaster/Hershey called Elizabethtown whilest most of my jobs were as far east of etown as Lancaster/Ephrata and far west as York---both could be an hour in either direction.

Currently, as of a month ago, I moved back in with my mom, which has been an awkward blessing to say the least.

Blessing because I now get to see my mom "back in love" with the Lord. After years and years of wanderings and seeing her give her best years over to death and destruction, I now get to see her rise each day and bless/love the Lord. She has returned! :)

Awkward, because I'm now back under my mom's roof after 8 years of being out from under it. *(Not including when I moved out for a month during the age of 16, because homelife just got that bad!) So here I am learning to be a daughter again,....(how to respect and uplift my mom). And yet I am an adult. Therefore I have my own life and perogatives.

Also awkward b/c my mom's ex-boyfriend, after taking a "journey" to Floriday and back, has seemingly come to know Christ and has "Moved back in"....to see if they can work things out. The funny thing is that my mom doesn't really want to---and yet has allowed, actually invited him back in. I do see the fruit of his life in Christ, in its beginning stages, however totally do not agree with him moving back in. But because it is my mother's house and she has the authority to do what she pleases,...I pray.

On a lighter, less confusing note, mime class has ceased for the summer. In it's place we have some REALLY exciting things happening in the Capitol Academy of the Arts:

*CAPETOWN: has just recently opened a studio in Capetown, South Africa. They offer ballroom, jazz and a few of the things they offer. We are excitedly awaiting their takeoff!

*Choreography Class: We have a new class of "Choreography" where we are brainstorming for the next and up-and-coming production this fall called, "Who Can Deny?" The kids are amaazing at this! We already have almost 70 (?) songs chosen and more choreography coming! Phew! Our Jesus is a Big God! :)

*MOVING!....We are also in the process of moving into a new building. SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. We are selling the mountain property, moving to a place closer to the town of New Holland, and having our opening debut, shortly after we return from Aruba in August.

I am also so excited beyond words because I can see God raising up a generation around the world, of people whose hearts are FULLY Dedicated to Him and His work. It is such a blessing to sink your teeth into.

Shady Maple Banquet Fundraiser: March 30th

So our performance *(That was post-poned from March 16th) to March 30th.* Yea, it takes me awhile to catch my breath to update. But God is so faithful---[Thank you for praying!] We raised muchos buckaroos for our trips/support through this summer--AND had alot of phun doing it. My mom, Uncle, Aunt, and many friends; saved and non-saved were there. We had an audience of (1) and about 287.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE teaching kids drama!

((( Let me back up. )))

God has been totally rocking my world these past few months (which is partially why I have not been free to update). *(And OH how I wish that I had pictures right now).* But just so you all know, I have been 'hired on' as a Mime-Instructor at the Capitol Academy of the Arts. The past 5 weeks have been filled with teaching kids ages 10-14 how to slink around and "lurk" on stage portraying demons and how they affect our mind/thoughts. It is very very fun. THEY ARE SO PASSIONATE FOR THE LORD, TOO! It has never ceased to amaze me how genuine and honest, purposeful and loving kids can be. (Esp at these ages). They will jump on your back one minute and throw a tantrum the next but they will come right back and love you through all the turmoil. The King of the entire Universe sure knows what He is saying when Jesus praises Him saying,

"At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure." [Luke 10:21 and Matt 11:25]

We were scheduled to have our very first multi-media production today: Friday, March 16th at 6pm: at the Shady Maple Restaurant. *****************HOWEVER***************************

It was to include: Hip-hop, Drama, Worship dance, Ballet, 2 screens full of flashing pictures, Lighting, Sound, and of course lots of MIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But...........................................................................

Due to the 7" of snow sitting outside of our windows, currently, it has been postponed for 2 weeks: March 30th.

SO THERE IS STILL TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THIS SPECTACULAR EVENT!

Additionally, although I am still working for Friendship Community, I have handed in my 2-week notice. Trails do abound for a reason, though and I am completely confident in all of the lessons that the Lord has been strengthening inside of me because of my time there!

TOO HEAVENLY MINDED?

*It has recently been brought to my attention, ((again)), *(OR shall I say, I was "warned,") that "Danya, have you ever heard it said that you can be, 'so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good?'...

"Well yes, but I beg to differ." It goes both ways, you see,.. IF you are SO earthly minded,....even so as to relate to many people,..then you are no heavenly good. Curious? ...*((Read on))*

Be Spiritually Minded

Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them - living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn't pleased at being ignored.

But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won't know what we're talking about.
